A livable centers study that turns infrastructure, parks, and facilities planning into a reinvestment strategy for one of Houston's most promising districts.

Lionheart was selected to create the Livable Centers Study on behalf of the Brays Oaks Management District and the Houston Galveston Area Council (HGAC). This study focused on the Brays Oaks district located in Houston and comprehensively studied infrastructure, parks, and facilities, with the goal of improving quality of life for area residents, promoting opportunities for reinvestment, and reaffirming the community as one of the best in Houston to live, work, and play.

Recommendations were broken into three categories: policy-based recommendations, project-based recommendations, and catalytic sites with potential to realize many of the project and policy based goals within specific areas of the District. Implementation was designed to incorporate private and public funding across a variety of sources, throughout the timeframe of the plan, to create successful projects and new partnerships.
