Vic Square is located on a busy corner within the commercial core of Aspen. The redesigned building embodies the concept of layering through a ‘folding’ of the facade. This language is carried into the streetscape though paving geometries and material changes that draw the pedestrian to the commercial storefronts. Elements such as bench islands, bike racks, and shade trees activate the corner and provide a plaza like space for the public to enjoy.
