620-acre master-planned community balancing housing, open space, retail, and long-term environmental stewardship.
Heirloom is a 620-acre master-planned community at the northern edge of Georgetown’s ETJ, designed to balance nature, neighborhood, and daily life. The community includes 3,600 residential units and 500,000sf of commercial space. Heirloom’s Masterplan is designed to meet a genuine regional need: a complete community where diverse housing, neighborhood retail, and open space come together in one thoughtfully planned place.
Anchored by more than 60 acres of open space, the plan weaves parks, trails, and natural areas throughout the community. In addition, the streets and homes are thoughtfully designed to follow natural drainage patterns, celebrate and protect significant stands of trees, and preserve large areas in their natural state. A connected network of shared-use paths, sidewalks, and natural trails links the vibrant town center to the residential neighborhoods, making it easy and enjoyable to walk, bike, or jog from home to shopping and back.
Lionheart produced the overall planning/urban design, landscape guidelines, and landscape architecture for the Heirloom project.
